Blueprint Ministries is the Children, Youth, Family and Young Adult ministry team within the Lutheran Church of South Australia and Northern Territory District. One of the things that we do is run camping ministry programs for young people throughout our District.

Riverland Christian Life Week caters for young people in Year 7-12. It is primarily targeted at young people from the Riverland, but participants from other areas are welcome to join us.

People of all backgrounds are welcome, from people who have been regularly worshipping members of a church community for many years to those who have never set foot in a church before! Members of all denominational backgrounds are very welcome and encouraged to attend and participate. Please note that camp will contain Lutheran theological teaching.

What does a day on Riverland CLW look like?

In the Morning:

• Wake up to the sound of some sweet camp tunes
• Morning exercise (this involves a variety of activities from line dancing to soccer to a stroll in nature)
• Breakfast!
• Morning worship (led by our camp band with a message from a pastor or speaker)
• Small groups (we have discussions about what we're leaning on camp and dive into the Bible a bit)
• Morning tea!
• Small group/big group activity (usually something fun on the lawn outside)
• Lunch!

In the Afternoon:

• Afternoon activity (either a whole-camp game or electives in smaller groups)
• Afternoon praise (we come together to sing some songs and praise God)
• Free time (the card and board games get pulled out around now, and there's always a game of cricket or basketball happening)

In the Evening:

• Dinner!
• Night activity (this ranges from getting cosy to watch a movie, to playing a night game outdoors, to having our theme night on the last day of camp)
• Supper and community time (a time to chill out and relax after the big day)
• Bunkhouse! (Time to share with the people in your dorm about your favourite part of the day)
• Sleep! (Essential for enjoying the rest of camp)

Camp will be held at Camp Kedron at Barmera (see map below.)

The campsite includes dormitory accommodation. Participants will need to bring their own bedding.

Our 2022 camp has been rescheduled!

Camp will take place from 11 - 15 October (Tuesday to Saturday)

Camp will commence at 11am.

Our registration fees for this year are:

Camper Regular - $195

All of our leaders are required to complete the Lutheran Church of Australia’s Safe Church training, hold a current Working with Children Check background screening through the Department of Human Services (under current Government legislation) and must obtain two references prior to joining the team. They are also required to have completed a component of ministry training.

We also have a number of our team members trained in Senior First Aid and Mental Health First Aid.
